A19 Palermo-Catania: Schifani appoints two new deputy commissioners to "accelerate closures."

Sicilian Regional President Renato Schifani has appointed two new sub-commissioners for the implementation of the maintenance plan for the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway. They are Nicola Montesano, the new head of the ANAS territorial unit in Sicily, and Duilio Alongi, currently general manager of the Sicilian Regional Technical Department. Both will serve on a pro bono basis. Schifani has already met with Montesano and Alongi.

"I have asked," said the regional president, "to speed up the closure of new construction sites and that traffic restrictions be implemented rationally, prioritizing reducing the impact on traffic."
